Anna Dubuc
Therapist
I am enrolled in the Master’s program in Marriage and Family Therapy at California Baptist University; I have immersed myself in coursework focusing on theories of family systems, individual and relational dynamics, and culturally sensitive therapeutic practices. My academic background, hands-on training, and supervision equip me with the necessary skills to provide effective counseling services.
During my practicum placements, I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations facing various challenges. From facilitating communication workshops for couples to supporting families navigating transitions, I have honed my ability to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. My experiences have strengthened my clinical competencies. I conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions tailored to each client’s needs.
As a therapist-in-training, I approach counseling with empathy, curiosity, and a genuine desire to support my clients on their journey toward healing and growth. I believe in building trusting relationships, honoring each individual’s strengths and resilience, and collaborating with clients to identify and achieve their goals. Grounded in a systemic perspective, I recognize the interconnectedness of individuals within their families and larger social contexts and strive to empower clients to enact meaningful change in their lives.
I am thrilled about the opportunity to contribute to the team at Able Mediation and Counseling Service and to continue my professional development under the guidance of experienced clinicians. With my academic foundation, clinical experience, and dedication to the field, I am eager to support clients in navigating life’s challenges and fostering healthier, more fulfilling relationships.
