I am a couples and family therapy graduate student at Alliant International University with a specialty in chemical dependence. I earned my BA in psychology from the University of Colorado and conducted behavioral neuroscience research there. I currently live in Oakland, CA where I have owned a guitar restoration business for 10 years. My life experiences and the people who have helped me through them have inspired me to want to do the same for others. My areas of interest are mood disorders, ADHD, PTSD, self-harm, substance use, anger management and peer violence. As a therapist, I value non-judgement, exploration, honesty and empowerment.
